What is the deal with contracts being nothing but hotshots and rampages?

Still I think changing it for something else (or adding an alternative way), for example similar to side missions wouldn't hurt to consider ( I don't know how it worked in old defiance can someone tell me -curious- ?)

Dailies and weeklies used to be running through one of or a set of various mission sites. It was fairly straightforward: go to the site, kill the baddies and complete the task, get credit. There were other dailies for other factions like do x number of mjr arkfalls/ incursions, kill a gunner/hellion/matron, pvp kills, or find a box and open it. Pretty mundane stuff that got repetitive, but still better than the alternatives they stuck in d50.

Id much rather run Happy Pow, Kith or Bolinas everyday than race or do Rampages. I refuse. They can keep their keys and rep.

In old Defiance, you had the occasional Rampage as a daily but mostly we had to do missions, Co-ops, complete Incursions, etc, stuff like that.
Could get boring cause the game doesn´t have that much content to play but at least it was doable for most of the players.
Time Trials, at least on a console are not easy to achieve due to its poor driving mechanics/physics.

Agreed. I especially hate time trials. I don't even do them and my Tarr Family rep is at zero because of it.

I never have liked Time trials, and rampages. Guess I'm S.O.L. for faction rep. Never did 'em before, ain't likely to start now. Like the D13 contracts better. They also make more sense from a story perspective. You could actually imagine getting a contract from somebody to re-take their mine etc. , not so much go really fast somewhere.

The old system was fine. This new system does not make the game even remotely fun and enjoyable. Add me to the list that wants change. D50 already has severe issues and this just makes it worse.

Just adding my voice in agreement. I'd much prefer doing missions or the point-of-interest locations daily than the current rampages and races.

I'm OK with these challenges actually. But the lag and riding these porcelain vehicles are just unbearable.
