don't trust IGN reviews, they gave Deadly Premonition a 1.4 or something redunkulous like that. Dead Premonition has it's issues, but seriously rating it that low. The Hanna Montana and Pimp My Ride games scored higher... like What?

Skyrim is the epitome of everything wrong with the gaming industry. Dumbed down gaming mechanics, sacrificed original plot for random generic quests, no "special"/hard to obtain loot, etc. I could go on.

It's so obvious that Bethesda paid them under the table to write that BS.

That alone shattered my trust in IGN. Morrowind and Oblivion were FAR SUPERIOR to Skyrim, but Skyrim got a freaken 9.5/10. It's a ******* shame.

Anyhoo, I wouldn't take advice from IGN if someone had a gun to my head.
This is from someone playing Defiance?

This game is so dumb that I could play the game through entirely by just melee'ing something or sticking it out with my starter weapon.

    Random Generic Quests?
Every side quest is basically pick up x, return here.
Every main quest is "Disable those sentry guns and kill these people"

There is no special or hard to obtain loot within Defiance either? I could go on.

The best way to handle IgN is just call them the out since they failed gamers long ago

IGN was great like a decade ago.

However. When you step back and look at how flawed Defiance is they do seem to be right.

This is the site that made a positive preview on the copy they received from Battleship Game.
They actually distorted the same characteristics Angry Joe complained about, to a positive view. Because they got a FREE COPY.

It was Colin Moriarty from IGN - and I don't have a sh*t if I spelled his name wrong.

IGN is popular because they target the testosterone driven youngsters and the gaming basement rats who flock to anything PS3/Sony.

Remember IGNs review of Diablo 3 before release? Remember Anthony G. praising Diablo 3 saying how fun n awesome Diablo 3 is? Or how about the PlayStation Vita IGN saying how any true hardcoregamer must have a PS Vita.

We all know how each took a nose dive and crashed right after launch.

Way way way back IGN (original crew) said Smallville the TV show wouldn't last 1 season and was such an awful idea with zero potential and crappy cast. And what happened ? Many many seasons later Smallville was an absolute success!

Rupert & the IGN minions can influence hate all they want but what's destined to be gold will always forever be gold.

    From the article!

There are huge numbers of weapons--but haphazard AI (both of the friendly and unfriendly sort) and dinky sound effects keep the shooting from feeling anything more than functional.
This is the kind of ******** that really grinds my gears, the AI in Defiance has been exemplary, in fact it's some of the best AI i've seen in video games, yes it can bug out but only rarely!

As for "dinky sound effects" the guy has obviously never fired a real gun in his life!

Funny you say that because here is angryjoe's angry rant impression of Defiance:
