I always forget why I ever stopped posting on forums: I try to start a enlightened discussion and get responses like this.

There are many people saying "this is not an mmo", despite the fact that it is. So yes, there is confusion.

People might want to check out the website before buying a game just to see what it is...not sure when people stopped doing that

online open world shooter. sounds about right doesn't it? Certainly a much better buy than competing open world shooters with no multiplayer, or just co-op...at least content wise. Im happy with my $60 spent.

Lets break MMO down!

Massive:
Wow I really expected more out of this game! Skyrim is 10X bigger than this game with way more quests and things to do. Once you beat all the quests and side missions. Which doesnt take that long to do. Especially with a group.

And then you focus all on the challenges because thats all that is left. and that starts going fast as well. How is this game massive like everyone is saying!

I really hope that they release more content beside 4 missions with the release of the show. Because just playing the same missions over and over again is gonna get boring fast!

Multi-player:

With no in game communication It feels like I am just playing any other co-op game like borderlands! Outside of Arkfalls, there is no real multi-player feel to this game!

Online:

LOL, So far there hasn't been even one day that they didnt take the servers down! But yes its an online enviroment so I will give them this one!


Side note:
I do like this game but this is far from a MMO experience that I was expecting. I expected a story line that would take longer than ten hours to beat if you would play it strait through. I expected to be able to talk and communicate with other gamers in game. I just hope there will be huge upcoming contend and DLC's not to far off!

When you're logged in type /help in the chatbox.

It's just buggy and broke and not scaleable or able to be always on, atm.

Aye, which they need to fix. xD

was in a group on PC earlier, and it was garbled. I wasn't trying to talk, but it automatically goes to "On" when you group up.

Hopefully it gets fixed in the 15th Super Fix patch.
