Hey Trion, just wondering where we are on providing any info on the compensation for the many of us that paid to be early headstart beta testers on launch and surviving the constant lag, dc's and not being able to log in etc .

Hi-Rez Studios, a company that deals with F2P titles (Paladins, Smite, etc) ran an event for Paladins on XBox One and Switch, this weekend (this event, itself, is already a compensation for the Paladins update being released later on these platforms).

There were problems with the event, big problems. But instead of making everybody anxious and angry, they ran to Twitter and posted that one of 2 things will happen: if they solve the problem today, the event will be extended. If not, it will be rescheduled, with bigger rewards.

THIS is how you treat your customers, F2P or not.

Frankly, I apologize again for the level of salt on my posts lately, but examples like this show we should never settle for Trion's standards:

Other games also give compensations. Mechwarrior Online, for example.

Trion doesn't do compensation. They will SAY they are going to but never do. A few months back d13 Xbox players could not get online for 15hrs straight. They promised compensation..........still waiting.............you'll turn blue holding your breath be dead and gone and I'll still be waiting.....................RIP COMPENSATION

Hirez sucks their entire catalogue is cash grabs - except for Smite... Actually, still a cash grab. At least Smite was and is a fairly unique moba for it's time.

All F2P games are out there after your money. I play them all, without ever spending a dime. You just need not to fall for their tricks OR spend your money willingly on something you like, I see nothing wrong on both alternatives.

That being said, in my book, Hi-Rez is looking way better than Trion now.

I didn't like Smite, but Paladins is the only PvP I ever enjoyed. Never spent a dime on it, and in 2 months I've been playing it very occasionally, I already have 200 crystals, enough for a 6 month Batlle Pass.

I meant that all their games follow trends. Realm royale - Fornite, Paladins - Overwatch, etc.

Trion on the other hand, I haven't really played much or any of their games other than this one. I think I tried trove once with a friend.
