Removed Salvage? Trion, you dont know what you're doing

This is game breaking if you are over 3k. Weapons cost to much to upgrade at this point. It takes several days to just upgrade 1 weapon with the current salvage situation. On top of this purple weapons don’t even give purple salvage. Feels like I’m getting trolled. About to buy a couple of hundred in micros just so I could level up my guns.

Yep, That's why I'm playing STO until when and If Defiance is put into some sort of PLAYABLE order. It's a mess right now and I don't play games that stress me out(haven't even DL'd yet, Beta was enough.).

I didn't pay $50 for the Founders pack to go play something else while they decide to sort this one out.

Just wanted to chime in with a funny customer support experience. I submitted a ticket in re the crashes...and they responded w/ a boilerplate message stating that I should delete and reinstall the game. Uh....that isn't solving the issue

Sounds like the help desk is a canned bot program that triggers on a key word and sends a response without having any logic coded into it.

if you think that is hard, see what's going after 3k, with the salvage nerf its now totally sick, i'm considering on quitting the game right now.

I have no salvage issues at 3k, you must be doing something wrong. Do more arkfalls.

the transition is hard. Was at 2k as well but story rewards carried me over the critical point. Has nothing to do with nerf. I'm there as well.

I have 2 weapons 3000 and 3007, unable to level more since every upgrade costs 150 blue salvage which I don't have. Yet it is so close 3k that all my drop and missions yields only blue salvage useless for upgrades. The only hope is getting 3k+ grenade and shield from coop and hope that will be enough to trigger purple salvage from arkfalls.

you truly don't get enough salvage until you hit that critical point where the dropped weapons are 3k+ where you can salvage them for purples. that happens around the 3200
