Power Level

I want to be increasing my power level I doing a way now where I get a weapon and upgrade it with salvage. But do I have to have them equipped to get even better weapons or can I just have them in my inventory and use lower power levelled weapons that just seem to do more.

I'm going to try to explain it, but of you watched the Twitch video from last Friday, they explained it better. Basically, the drops are based on the two most frequently equipped weapons' power level. So it's best to mod and master these weapons.

You can do just that, but remember to enhance your higher PL gear of you inventory to keep leveling up faster.
