Hackers in certain hotshots/time trials?

Yes the top three spots don't have anything to do with the black charger but like achievements, people that play something over and over again take a lot of pride in their goals. I myself have 4 (I think) top three spots in the time trials and yes they are legit. I have no spots in the hotshot challenges because my old *** just cant function that fast.
But yes, everyday they race these time trials and the times are definatly hacked. And yep, your runner skill level definatly does apply to how fast you get it done. Buy one of the faster quads and level it up. I have skill level 20 and the fastest quad and only then was I able to achieve a top three score.
On another note, I will give a lot of props to the devs. They try and keep up on it and take the hacked times from the leaderboards daily. My top three scores get demolished everyday and after the reset they are back up. I wish they would just fix it but as long as they keep resetting that's okay.
One of the biggest cheats on the time trials is gamer tag "The stickie mod". I don't usually call someone out like this but its getting annoying. And doesn't his gamer tag say it all?
just keep plugging away at leveling your runner and you will get it done.
And last but not least, for those of you that continuously post, "WHO CARES ABOUT TOP THREE", or "WHO CARES ABOUT ACHIEVEMENTS". Has probably never had a top spot on leaderboards and maybe has 3 or 4 thousand achievement points at best. Its an accomplishment and I'm proud of it!!!! And that's my two cents.

Perma ban these cheaters. They diminish legit accomplishments. Also makes you think they don't care about who's cheating.

Well on one of the Time trials I noticed someone completed it in 00:00, now that's just impossible with out a shadow of a doubt. No one can drive around a two lap course in no time, this was on console, so this goes to show that no one is safe from hackers.

There is currently a glitch to use a dodge challenger instead of the time trial vehicle, i already reported it to trion, they should be fixing it soon, hopefully.

I don't think they are trying to tear down your achievement so much as they can't respect any leaderboards in Defiance atm since nobody can tell if the score is legit or hacked.

I most certainly respect the top leaders on most boards, it was the driving force for the replay value in the most recent Hitman game. Tell they get the hacking under control however you will always have your drove of players calling you out and tearing down your spot on the leaderboard..... most are also just H8rs!

actually i was reading on here that the weapon damage n such is on gamers side not server side so they can adjust damage values and such hence the 1 shot kills some are getting in pvp if al lthe info is on gamesr end then any and all game values cna be hacked and set to what ever mindnumbing number they come up with for ammo amounts damage speed cooldowns etc

I got this game a few Days ago. I created my first character, I played around for a few hours. Next day I tried to get some of the goals made, stumbled over the menu.

Under TAM I found the Time Trial at Tranquility Sprint. Read I must get silver to pass and a list of existing places showed.

1st Place had done the race in 0:00
2nd in 0:34
3rd in 0:35.

How come no one at Trion noticed and has deleted the first obviously incorrect entry?
Second, I'd like to know just what time I have to beat to get the medals. When I played this the first time I ended it at 41 seconds, saw the list above and was ready to throw the game in the trash. How in hell would I make silver medal with a time at 0:34 when first was an obvious hack/glitch. I thought the list might clear after a few hours and "respawn" or something. Went back later but the list was the same.

Then I found out by a YouTube video that 38 seconds was all you had to beat for silver. And you MUST lvl your vehicle skill to at least 7 before even trying this, you must have the boost bonus of the skill lvl to be able to make this. More info found on forum, nowhere in game. And as this is one of the first ones you ever try out it when perusing TAM , it's a big chance many sees this and might lose interest in the game early on.

So many things are NOT explained in the game or on their own website that are basic knowledge. I have spent 3 days now reading and looking at Youtube clips to understand what I have to do to NOT running around clueless how to lvl up and play. I’m EGO lvl 256 now, still I have no clue of how to “enter” shadow wars. It’s back to the net and read/watch more. Last night I went to an SW event, just top find a bunch of ppl running around shooting each other and tried to shoot me. But as I wasn’t part of it, it just looked silly.

There where TONS of complaint of Halo 4 and i343’s work with the series. I dropped it to go to Defiance. I thought it would be a change for the better. After just playing 4 days I’m already bored, I hope it gets better along the way….l

Ive been noticing some numbers that dont add up. For example the north point mine time trial on the quad, gold is 3: 25. Now ibe spent 3 days just replaying this and other time trials just repeating and repeating trying to whiddle down the time on it after ive already gotten gold and the fastest time I can get is 3: 18. And thats with driving straight through, cutting every corner possible and using boost as constant as can be. I mean ive picked apart this race and theres nowhere I can find to get any more time cut off of it, yet someone did this race in 3: 05. Id like to know there secret that gets them 20 seconds under the gold.lol

The secret is practice (in order to know the race, where to boost, where to move left in order to be in the right place), having a fairly decent level in runners (at least 18, I think for the maxed speed and boost bonus), a good connection (lag), and some luck.

I did 3:04 in this race the day before yesterday... It was around 7AM UTC (excellent hour, not many people connected not many lag). Unfortunately, record was beaten by someone else during the day (3:03), and by a hacker the next day (~2:30).

Going sub 3:00 without hacks on North Point is definitely possible. But it will require the perfect race, with the perfect connection.
