    i'm sorry but this powerlevel/salvage grind is no fun

    old defiance was more fun , the balance of weapons vs. enemies was better , driving was fun , loot was fun and diverse (infecters swords bmgs)

    defiance 2050 - you play for several hours and at the end you get a bunch of trash greens/blues below your level , if lucky maybe upgrade your power number by a marginal amount and then you gotta repeat the same forever and still get owned by any enemies, as all the work you put in your character levels them up too, it makes no sense to me from a RPG aspect, the salvage nerf made it even more obvious how boring the progression is in 2050

    co-op maps are worse than the old game, although they are the same , but the enemy balance is off , proof is even the co-op achievements (kill motherlode below 5 minutes etc.) which are not even nearly possible to complete

    I don't know if this is a game I can keep playing, please bring back a PROPER PORT OF THE OLD DEFIANCE . this one seems like it was made by people who just got the source code of the old game but don't understand what was good about the original

    all of this is just game design as intended , im not going into technical issues as both games had a fair share of em so that's not something that actually changed

    im sorry for this negative thread , but after a initial phase of fun with 2050 I realized this grind is not fun as I have the reference of the old game, since it's not even a sequel but a "sort of port" it should be measured on the original , all of the good aspects were already in the old game , all new stuff like skills/classes , enemy balance , power level scaling so you always weak progression , rewards , loot , vehicles strength is worse

    They know Motherload is not working right, and are currently working to fix it. According to the last patch notes, they're testing a fix for it.

    Vehicles, they're working on. Right now, they're still under the nerf from where they were immortal and people were using them at arkfalls to just run over enemies. Another thing they're working on.

    As far as progression, rewards, and loot. I think we can all agree, that does need some work as well. Not sure i they have anything planned for reward and loot. But we're suppose to get a new progression system later on.

    I think it may apply even to other co-op maps , some have a 3 minute boss kill target some 5 , but these fights in defiance 2050 take at least double that time from my experience , not sure if it changes later at a higher power number but I doubt since power level is just a illusion

    imo they should just change all the timer achievements to something like scrapworks has where the goal is to stay alive instead of a timer
