Ran into the health glitch first time the other day. Firing the continuum fully charged for the 3 shots to the head with the crit Dot applied. Guy just stood there and took all 3 and didn't even flinch his health bar with the red hew animation around him. I was also killed by him after... left the match.

Why run? You'll only die tired.

Yeah, ran into a few of those myself. Part of the reason PvP is hard to get in to. But, I do encourage people to over look this. Without it, PvP would be great. Though, Second Life may still need a nerf after this is fixed. Right now the combo of the two make guardians impossible to kill. Which I think is part of the frustration over the Second Life perk.

Even with this, win or lose, I will always say in zone chat once it's over, "Good match to those that weren't shield glitching." I mean I won't lie here, I've considered using the shield glitch, just to even the playing field. But, where's the fun in that?

So while I still think Second Life does need to be adjusted a bit for PvP. Which makes sense, in truth, I've never really ran in to a guardian that wasn't using it. We'll have to wait and see how it is, once the shield glitch is fixed.

Pvp use to be my favorite part of D13. I ran an oj infector with oj hatchling grenades coupled with a charge sniper or a detonator depending on the map. In its current state I find myself just playing for my daily. It’s frustrating losing because people are glitching and not actually beating you with skill or out plays.

They just need to come out and saying whether or not they are going to enforce a punishment or not. I have run into so many people saying that they now glitch because they ran into a glitcher and wanted to even the playing field and to stop complaining because Trion doesn’t care anyways. I’m not going to lie there are a few known glitcher so when someone else does it now I don’t even blame them because it’s been in the game so long and so abused by some that others have no option.

Second life should be looked at and a possible nerf is needed. You know something is op when everyone is running it in pvp. In regular pve it’s mostly assault and Assassins though.

I keep hearing about this shielding glitch but don't know how it's done or care, but then also would like to know so I know when I'm running into it or not. Either way I'm in there but it does create a bit of hate when dealing with it.

reading the comments in this post it seems a lot of you are forgetting second life is a perk not a skill, so the cooldown resets after you die, respawning you with a fresh second life everytime, its not hard to kill 3 or 4 people with second life active, die and then do it all over again

Yes. But with the other two shield abilities.

Second Life goes off, 5 seconds of immunity. In five seconds a nice large chunk of you HP can regenerate. Then add the two shield skills, and you've got an almost full health bar back.

If you add the shield glitch to this, you can't kill a guardian. They're hard enough to kill without the glitch, even with 2 or three people attacking them.

Add to this, the reset on death, which is fine. But, that means, wade in, kill 4 or 5 people, die, and do it again. This is broken, and overpowered for PvP.

I'm on PC, I'm seeing PvP matches that are mostly nothing but guardians. I'm pretty avid about it as well. I do my Echelon daily, and keep queuing to help others get their's. So I've seen a fair mix of it all. When one class is the go to class for PvP. Then something about that class is broken and overpowered for it. In this case, it's Second Life.

And shield glitching is easy to spot in PvP. Carry a Shrapnel or Incendiary grenade. If the DoT doesn't hurt them, or they're regenerating health while the DoT is active on them. They're shield glitching.

Second Life does need to some work in the PvP. I just faced of against a team that was mostly guardians, which I can't respect these players at all. The class is overpowered in pvp, and they know it. They choose to play it because it is broken.

Now, because there those that think even Healing Stim in the Assault class needs a nerf. Here are some comparisons.

Using Healing Stim, it takes 2 seconds to activate this power, manually. You can die before the heal it gives even goes off.

Second Life, activates automatically with out the player doing anything, provides 5 seconds(entirely to long in PvP) of invulnerability.

Healing Stim, the cool down does not reset on death, it's an activate power, and at max rank has a 20 second cooldown.

Second Life, cooldown resets on death, or after three minutes.

And yes, Trion, that is what your PvP is currently turning in to. A bunch of Second Life Guardians trying to kill each other. I personally run Assault, since even with the healing stim, I still die. Which is fair. At no point am I invulnerable and can wipe out those attacking, before I have to worry about dying again.Since I can die while I'm actually using the Stim, before it even heals me.

You can't really fault them because that's how any competition works.

Obviously the guys responsible have to step in.

I know that part was me starting to rant a bit. It's aggravating in Comps and Shadow Wars, when it's like the Old McDonald had a farm song. With a guardian over here. With a guardian over there. With guardians everywhere.
