- Considering Clusters could hit like 100-200k per clip I would say that is a fitting nerf. I wonder if they did the same with the 6+ AoE ones also...
- Launchers were the worst weapons in the game, so I hope they did something to make them at least decent...
- LMGs were powerful as they were... I hope they did not increase DMG but instead added a little bit more accuracy.
- Flare Pistol and infectors did not need a nerf at all...
- More ammo boxes at arkfalls is a good thing.
- The nerf toward the AI just proves this company is more interested in the casual gamer and making as much money as possible.
- Thick Skin nerf is fitting.
- Titles at faction vendors is a good start. But now lets get weapons that are worth buying!
- No more random orange glow on loot. GOOD.

for myself i'm just hoping the ''optimize sound'' on console is the actual soundtrack that get add in the game o.o ps3 for my part... yep the only thing that caught my eye lol

Hoping that the INfectors nerf will be adjusted to PVP only. Honestly as everyone has said they don't need it. They are medium range weapon that doesn't really have power in certain situations (although they rock at arkfalls)
When the world goes to shtako, someone has to clean it up.
My concerns about this patch (noting that some may just not have made it into the draft):
No fix for not getting Mass Cannon XP
No fix for the Perk/Costume duplication bug (what's the point of unlocking more perks if I have to use the same ones on all my loads?)
No fix for the vehicle level up bug
No fix for the "That's All I Got" bug
Dam Defense rocket launcher damage changed? Does that mean it's coming back into the game too?
No way to scroll in chat so I can see past messages (admittedly, this may just be that I haven't figured out how to do it yet. Would be nice if someone would tell me how if it is in the game)
No fix for the bug that posts co-op results when an instance finishes even if you leave early, especially the part where you get kicked when it is posted if you start a new instance (results should just get posted for that player when that player leaves the instance).
Sawed-off shotgun nerf? Why? The only role this weapon can serve is a one-shot hit and run. If that one-shot can't kill anything this weapon becomes useless.
And infector range nerf? They're hard enough to use as it is when they don't deal much damage until the bugs spawn (the bug dmg nerf I can kind of see). Gonna have to be too vulnerable for too long for these to be useful anymore.
cloak in pvp is a non issue, even though they are the same color as their backgrounds they are still quite visible.. perhaps you need to stop playing on a tube tv and upgrade to something with resolution...
can't handle cloak? I guess you never made it south yet have you..
next thing he will want is people to stand in a row, facing each other, never moving, then after that pvp will simply involve a single button, who ever hits it the fastest most often wins..
Guess what.. you can have cloak also.. use it.. did you get killed? awww.. THAT'S PVP... after Halo most of the gamers these days don't mind dying, often, with no repercussion..
go skill up some.
btw.. hate using cloak?? there are several ways to uncloak people in the game and they can't do anything about it... try using those instead of begging Trion to hold your hand.

This is the issue with having voice activated on by default more then anything else. They need to default it off for co-op as well. You can't even really blame the people breathing into their mics -- they don't have a clue most of the time. They don't realize you can hear them. They probably don't even *want* to be heard, but they are none-the-wiser unless somebody tells them or they have the foresight to look at the options menu and figure it out that way.
In the earlier co-op missions you'll run into this crap all the time playing with new players.
There's nothing wrong with including optional in-game voice chat, it's a good thing in fact. But for the love of god if you are going to do it, don't default it to voice activated and then not include PTT on top of that. It's hard for me to understand how Trion, a developer whom you would think is familiar with PC gaming (Rift was a PC exclusive, after all) could think for a second this was a good idea for the PC version.
Anyways, aside from all that nonsense, and questionable weapon nerfs, the patch does look good. I do hope they take a good, long look at these balance changes before they knee jerk them in.
