Defiant Few Reputation Mission Bugged

The Defiant Few: Go to the source mission is bugged. Activating the experimental weapon in the box at the start locks you in place, unable to do anything except let the enemies kill you twice so you can abandon the mission. Running through without the weapon proves overly difficult, but doable in a group. Anything higher than a bronze is impossible without the experimental weapon, however. Seen similar reports that this issue is present in every one of these sorts of missions.

This is on PS4, by the way. Though, I've seen others report the same on other platforms.

U can open up ur inventory and close it and ur freed. U can get higher then bronze if u have a 4 man squad i got gold with 4 man squad a few times. The biggest bug is the daily doesn't count after completing it.

same here, it still hasn't been fixed for me. i can get to the big guy with the grenade launcher but he kills me. thats just using my regular weapons. i still cant pick up the weapon from the crate but the inventory trick does work to cancel the picking up process. im also on the ps4 and this main mission is the only thing keeping me from doing the Defiant Few quest line
