Tips On How to Land Killshot on Hellion and Progenitor

Some people may be trying to get the killshot on the major arkfall bosses. And I know it is tough. I have gotten both killshots but it took me a while until I realized that it is sort of easy to get the killshot. The weapon you want to use for the hellion is an infector. You want to wait until it is down to a pretty low health, then you start shooting your infector on it. Aim for the critical spots as you will have a better chance at getting the killshot that way. I use the infector a lot during major arkfalls and I get a lot of kills from the infector just because it sucks the life out of enemies. You can also use a BMG but the infector is more useful. Now for the Progenitor I suggest using a LMG or Assault rifle. You want to wait until it is down to its very last tiny bar of health and use overcharge then fire away. That is how I got the killshot for the progenitor. Hope this thread helps you get closer to completing this pursuit.

I guess using a high damage huge clip LMG with overcharge would increase your chances. I got both my kill shots and that's what I did. Got both in the san francisco area. There still aren't very many people that have made it that far in game and after an arkfall there's NEVER the full 20 on the leader board. Again, with less people there's more chance of getting the kill shot... I just need to bump up my revives now!

For that I cheated lmao. Me and my bud killed each other until we had enough revives. But yeah being in San Fran increases your chances with the killshot big time.

I was shooting at a progenitor. Then I saw "critical kill" appear and was like woo finally.
Then I checked the pursuit and it didn't have a tick. (1st word problem)
It there anything else that needs to be done?

tip: killin one single mob at any part of the major arkfall and then go do something else yields about the same experience and BETTER loots than doing them from beginning to end/getting in top 10.

So havin said that, once people realizes this: you should have no problems getting a kill shot since it will just be you at the boss!

Lucky. I have had the killshots for a week and I am done with revives but I can't finish the pursuit because my pursuit STILL WONT RECORD MY FREAKING KILLS.

Prog kill shot is annoying, seems like everyone and their mother has some unique way to bust that last kill but I can't do it, I put in millions of damage during the event but can't land that final kill shot. I suspect I'll be done with my revives and kills before I ever land that kill shot.

Seems like 3 - 4 people clear all the mini's, then about 500 come over when it's big boss time.
