    Sawed Offs are going to be the new Magnums.

    They are already highly inferior to the other Shotguns and now they're getting nerfed?

    The funny thing is that Pump Shotguns are way more overpowered in combination with Cloak.

    How are the Devs not seeing that?

    and yet people griped about the plasmas being op, and look at the other weapons, those weapons are far more op than the plasmas ever were, sniper rifles killing in 1 hit, shotty's killing in 1 hit, hell i actually saw someone kill another player in a shadow fall in 1 hit with a damn pistol, but people *****ed about how plasmas were op, i think the 1s who griped about the plasmas are the same 1s using the 1hit kill shotty and didnt want plasmas around to balance it out, cuz with a plasma i wont let you get close to use that 1hit kill shotty on me lol

    PvE players always QQ when something OP gets nerfed. Adapt it.

    Mobs aren't too terribly tough as is, and the only time you really need to worry about causing a massive amount of damage is major arkfalls where there are more than 20 people present

    I say this because once they start balancing guns - they end up touching them all some point.
    They did seem to go after guns that didnt need to be messed with really. Glad detonators got nerfed, but they should have kept it a PVP nerf only as PVE was fine.
    Dont bother running, you will only die tired.

    I know you're right on this one, but they didn't touch it this time around which makes me happy. I just want them to add a 50 cal type down the road which is what I am hoping the charged Sniper rifle would be like.

    Well.. considering that Arkfalls are a pretty big part of the game... I'd say that having a major advantage in them is warrant enough to use them for that particular case.

    There are lots of guns in the game. Even more, there are lots of variations of how each weapon type behaves. Some are stronger than others in particular situations. Some are great for general purpose. Others have particular strengths when attached with a particular Elemental type. It's all in how you use them.

    For instance, I have an LMG that pretty much cracks skulls on everything, except 99er's (for instance.) The reason is because they have shields, where Raiders and Bugs, generally, don't. Thus, I switch to a Revolver (which is typically a pretty worthless gun in my opinion) except it has Electrical DMG applied to it. One shot with that thing, their shields are gone, and suddenly, my LMG is boss, again.

    Having said that, however, I'll say again. Infectors needed a nerf. Whether or not this was the best solution is debatable.
