Uhh.. WTH ? No Global chat in patch note ?

After read the drafted patch note and realize that there was no 'Global Chat' mentioned in it.

WTH mann, You couldn't just add what basic function that every mmo must have ?

It's very bad when you want to make group, looking for group, looking for trade, but you can't do anything.

Many times I try to say hello to people around, or even clan, but no one ever answer me !!!

Why? You can just dissable global chat if you don't want to use it.
Why deny it those who want to use it?

I am very dissapointed they are unable to fix the chat system coming 15th! And that we at least have to wait YET another two weeks for a possible fix!

I am getting sick of playing solo. Guildies are not available 24/7 and we have a small group. I was hoping 15th will become more communication in game but doesn't seem so.

You can send whispers. type /help for the commands. They're just buried and kind of glitchy from what I heard.
You just can't click their name and send a message. The entire chat UI is just terrible on every level, there is not one good thing about and how trion ignored all the pleas from the alpha and beta and let it become live is just mind boggling.

I don't understand why the UI is so console-like for the PC to begin with. This isn't about the PC is the greatest thing ever or anything, but literally the UI is made for a controller. Why? Why not make the UI like any other user friendly UI on the planet and give us bars on top of our screens and the like?

I love the game, but I'm constantly astonished by how they claim this is an MMO but dropped the ball so hard every possible social feature.

Every. single. social feature.

Clan chat, VOIP, local chat, personal chat, regional chat, group chat/voip. All of it is astonishingly bad. Categorically low-end. Broken, if at all functional.

Really, it's an embarrassment to the studio that brought us Rift.

They had to make the deadline for the TV Show launch or face the wrath of SyFy.

This game screams unfinished and rushed in every way. There is no denying it.

There are fun aspects in the game that are enjoyable, like the Main storyline and Episode missions.
-CO-OP is passable, but very simplistic and basic for MMO standards.
-PVP is outright terrible.
-The side missions are few and far between and extremely generic and repetitive.
-The world map is extremely tiny for MMO standards.
-Chat system.... well we already said enough about it. Could as well be not in the game at all.
-Weapon progression and itemization is extremely randomized and poorly done, With a looting scheme that highly favors lockboxes to boost Cash Shop sales. Pure Money grabbing practice. Nothing more to it.

Ahh well... we will see how they can fix up this mess in the coming weeks. Or not. Then it's time to move on.

For now, I enjoy the storyline missions, which I will finish up (alongside the sidemissions) in coming days.

Have you typed /help in the chat box?

The ability to send PM's and all things other MMO chatboxes can do, it's there. I'm assuming that's part of the fix.
