Missile Maestro Pursuit Requirement "Use Guided RL to Kill 25 Enemies" Always Shows 0

No matter how many hordes of enemies of all sizes, shapes and colors, I lay to waste, the pursuit status window always shows:

[ ] Use Guided Rocket Launchers to Kill 25 Enemies [0/25]

The rest of the steps to completing the pursuit update correctly. For instance:

[ ] Use Standard Rocket Launchers to kill 25 Enemies [20/25]

And so on. Note that the display is incorrect as well for the other two pursuits sharing this name (i.e., Missile Maestro II and Missile Maestro III)—that is, they show [0/25] all the time too.

I figured I would add to your post as well. I had this bug pointed out to me yesterday from a different person. I went to do further testing on it to make sure it was not exclusive to 1 Platform (the person that pointed it out to me plays on Xbox). Sure enough, it is not. Whenever I get kills with my Squash Swarmer, it is not adding up with the kills I already have. I do not have any other guided rocket launcher to test this out with, but from what I have heard, it is affecting all of them.

Also as an addition, somehow I am getting kills counting for Guided Rocket Launchers, but it is not directly with every kill. It only seems to happen sometimes, but I believe mine may be triggering due to the Mastery Bug. It takes like 10 enemies to register 1 kill...but other people still seem unable to get even 1, such as Kholdfyre here. Hopefully this bug can be fixed at some point in the future...
"Knowledge is Power" however "With great power, comes great responsibility", and so one must tread carefully with life. I would advise you not follow me, unless you want to be guided to holes in the ground and have your video game character die. I am just your mysterious guide. That is all that needs to be known down here. Defiance!

This mastery bug allows you to thrive, why would you honestly ever want it fixed bugman?

Lightbulb Why do I, bugman, want the Mastery Bug to be fixed?

Unless some kind of non-buggy system takes place that would allow similar situations to happen with all players-not just those playing before Hulker Hell- I would prefer the error to be corrected. This troublesome issue can be observed from different angles. Although I do get some laughs with it in PvE, it can be quite an annoyance in PvE as well as PvP. Some are not fans due to the impact this bug has on the servers, others enjoy the descending chaos that arises from the problem. An existing workaround to this the mastery bug is just erasing the pre-update legendaries and prototypes (although legendaries are not as much of an issue, they are still part of the bug). However, obtaining those legendaries back are nearly impossible for some, and many may not have the salvage, cores, or desire to erase those prototypes and make new ones. There are other possible circumstances that can also hold the user to have little desire in quickly exchanging from exact prototype kinds. It might have been their first prototype; they might hold a special memory attached to it; they may even use the effects to help benefit multiple people. Whatever the case may be, fixing the issue seems like a logical thing to do at the moment. It would help ease the servers some, as well possibly spare some trouble for the players. It also makes things easier and boring without some extra challenge backing it up, so there is that too.

As for my case AZRA, while that may be true this bug allows me to thrive, I would rather see pest control annihilate the dastardly problem before the next major content drops. While it is true I could cut the head off a snake on my end, there still lies the issue of other characters' stockpiles. For anyone reading this, while yes there are different positions you may uphold regarding this sticky situation, I can assure you my intentions are for the good, not the bad. It is very similar as to why Atomizer was my main weapon until I obtained Pumpkin Patch and more legendary weapons. The difference is that Atomizer is an SMG, and along with Detonators, Sub Machine Guns are currently my favorite weapon class in this game. My reasoning could also be argued with different sides, because it can help people get stronger, and yet possibly drive them away from the game as well. I wanted to have more loot drop for everyone, especially when it came to sieges. I kept reading about players growing frustrated with the loot drops, and so I wanted to do something. Note that this was weeks- about a month before Atomizer started getting massive attention (at least, as far as I can recall...it is bonkers how things can change in such a short time span).

Jumping back to now, where Atomizer is no longer the monster it once was (I do not see it as garbage either; it is an alright weapon), the mastery bug has taken the previously broken prototypes' spots. Also unlike with Atomizer, I gain little benefit nowadays compared to before, as I use Auto-Salvage with most gear drops anyways. There is also the reasoning that the power change can result in even lower power rating players getting more kills now. (I mentioned to you in zone chat awhile back the power change could always be tested. Based off of my observations, being at 5k helps to make T2 a huge breeze; T3 decently child's play; T4 slightly no sweat. Relating this back to the open-world environment of the game, caps could possibly exist. However, a form of a difference exists either way). Since other players can get more kills now, I can still help with more things dropping on the ground for them. Although another's perspective on my use of the bug may involve myself being in the wrong, that is okay. In a way, I am in the right, and I am in the wrong. I stand firm on my decision though, and so I wait until the bug is no more.

TL;DR (Normally I do not do this, but, given the time of day, I figured anyone interested could always read all of my words later.)So again, why do I want this fixed? I find this bug to be a blessing and a curse. I want to continue helping others when I can, but I would like the bugs to disappear for everyone when possible. Less server crashes would possibly happen, and the game could become somewhat more difficult again (although having the bug occur in PvE can lead to hilarious situations...PvP though... is a different matter). It helps to save people at least one choice. The power change helps make a different experience compared to before, and thus lower rating players can have a chance to get more kills now too. My right-and-wrong decision stands, ~until the nightmare is slain.~

PS: I would also like the mastery bug to be fixed that way we can also have as fair of fights as possible AZRA. Your tactics help make me think more on how to go about the match. XD

You barely managed to go positive during most matches before this mastery bug GUIDER. We both know that you are being hypocritical for the sake of public opinion.

I won't deny that before this bug I did horrible in most PvP matches AZRA; that is true. However, along with not really having much of a good setup until after Hulker Hell (having obtained Pumpkin Patch has helped out a bunch),shield glitching was more prevalent, and I was not able to get the hang of it. Ever since Hulker Hell first dropped, I have been able to piece together a good setup that I can stick with for some time. Practice has helped me refine the use of my setup,so even when the bug gets fixed, I doubt it will be the same as before Hulker Hell (I could be wrong though, and even if I am it is alright. PvE is more my thing anyways lol). As for your 2nd sentence, I suppose that is one way (luckily not the only way.) to look at it. However, you asked, and I answered with how I felt about the bug. I respect your viewpoint nonetheless. If you want, we can talk about this somewhere else, as this conversation seems to be slowly dragging away from the focus of the thread about the guided rocket launcher bug. If not, then oh well. I hope you have a good time in your PvP matches today AZRA!
