I do recall it being said during a livestream they were going to stop items from being looted into claims because players were abusing it to gain a higher power level unfairly. So SAS is correct about that part. I did I not expect it to stop purchased items from being shared across characters though. So, maybe it’s a bug or maybe it’s intended or maybe they didn’t know how to program the differences between looted in game from the ground vs looted from a chest. Either way, I hope that find a way to fix this because I can see it causing people to avoid the loot boxes.

Hell I bought the 110 boxes and it only gave me stuff until my inventory was full and gave nothing else. A whole 30 secs of items. No extra vechiles costumes or vehicles.

I never saw the items I received from the 110 boxes , game dc’d me right after I clicked purchase . Logged back in and saw about 8 vehicles , 12 partial outfits , some cores in claims and an ark key . Only 2 oranges , a shield n nade pl 4960 ish .
I probably got ripped on the catalysts as well but can’t confirm .
