Shotguns were my weapon of choice against raiders, up until those tankers became 100% invincible to them. I don't care if they do critical damages or normal damages, but making the critical spots totally invincible is overkill. Let the weapons do x1 damage like it's not a critical spot, but FFS don't make a critical spot an armored spot.
That is obviously a moot point until the turkeys stop ruling the place.
The mere existence of this thread shows the hilarious incompetence of the devs who made this decision, in any other company this would have gotten you fired. It just goes to show how the devs literally did not think anything through and pretty much make a decision on the first thing that comes to mind with absolutely no kind of quality control or testing...
