Sounds like someone has sour grapes. The Proto's are not perfected weapons by any means and many have been nerfed so they are no longer any value whatsoever. Use whatever you like and if a weapon gains any advantage the community raises a fuss so it is nerfed anyways. I am surprised that no one beats me up for using an LMG.
Seriously most proto's are worse than normal weapons. So you are not missing a thing if you have not gotten them yet.
Protos was never supposed to be the best guns in the game. Its the fact that they wasnt tested that some of them become the best to use. Just look at OP the atomizer used to be. Its still good now for acquiring points at sieges and arkfalls but almost every other smg with mods will out perform the atomizer for dps.

Top Notch Saw is a definite must in anyone's toolkit. and the only time the atomizer was that good was with the mastery bug and I did not have that problem. To me the atomizer was only good in sieges where a lot of enemies dropped in one spot where you could get that overload to work. Otherwise it was a substandard gun. But a rather handsome weapon. LOL
I came back to this necro thread hoping to see some fix for those of us not even getting the poultrymancer. Not whether or not Prototypes are good or not;-)
Fuzzy sorry that you did not get it but everyone was given the opportunity to get it. All you had to do was show up to arkfalls and get the parts from a chest. Get seven parts and the gun was yours. If you did that and still did not get it then submit a ticket like anyone else to support. Saying that you did not get it here will not get you any action.
Here is the thing sal, if you read the start of the thread it explains the issue. I was awarded the Goliath as the mistake like so many others. I spent the keys on the arkfalls the first day. My wife got the turkey gun I got the Goliath. I followed all the steps and had more than enough turkey remnants. Still nothing. It is a glitch that Zeph knows about. Sorry for the confusion.
Oh and my ticket is still open. My newb start up date says a few months ago, but I played d13 up til now and hadn’t began to post anything until this 2050. I Seriously came here since it looked like someone had a fix for this issue.
