It actually happened after I was logged in and playing! I was just running around, and happened to stumble across my character screen and saw my weapons!! Everything was ok.

I lost my gun, I was just standing in Iron demon Ranch afk, went to get a drink and 30 seconds later it was gone.

Hey guys i had the same problem but i just fixed mine this is how. Go fight random enemies and wait for them to drop a gun then when you go up to the weapon hold the X button to auto equip and problem solved hope this works for you guys.
