9 days after release with many server updates and still getting disconnected from the server every 10 min due to timing out. I will be on my Twitch.tv feed all day so the devs can see for themselves they are not doing a very good job of fixing the issues prior to April 15th so that people can actually play the game.

Same issue myself. I get random severe lag and at times a disconnect. I play on a PC. I notice this only with Defiance. In fact today, I had TS3 open and when I started the game everything lagged at including TS3. So for some reason Defiance is eating up the bandwidth at various points in time. I've monitored my network and it happens on huge data spikes from the Defiance servers.
I hope this is a known issue at Trion and they are working to resolve it.
I've followed some of their steps in resolving connectivity and even shut off a firewall to no avail.
Me to actually getting pretty passed off with it, doing the dark matter quest line at the moment and every 10 minutes I get a disconnection :-(Originally Posted by Kriddle
Same here its VERY annoying I fight my way thru an instance almost get to the end, a major fight starts where im supposed to defend an npc and boom disconnect and the freaking doors locked to the room i need to be in so guess what i have to do the whole thing over again! Just a little annoyed makes you think they didnt stress test the servers or something even rift or warcraft or even swtor didnt have THIS many issues on launch.....
I'm really trying to get into this game. just as I'm starting to have fun I get DCed. I've rolled toons on the NA and EU servers and I keep getting deconned from both. Nothing has really changed since Alpha and I'm a bit fed up. Rift had issues but not like this (security snafu aside).
yeah if this d/c stuff doesn't get any better im gonna just drop this game and recommend that nobody i know touches it every 10-20 mins im booted server time out or just not available its getting old fast to much time has passed for this to keep happening cant finish arkfalls or co ops
Same issue. It is completely random for me. I have got over an hour playing with no disconnects and but quite often its every few minutes. What is really upsetting me about the issue is I had absolutely ZERO issues at the launch of this game. I played for almost a week with no problems and had no idea what all the people complaining were complaining about. But now every patch makes the game more and more unplayable for me. This is very frustrating.
Same issues here. Prior to the patch I had almost flawless game play (on Xbox) but since I haven't been able to do anything. I get kicked off the server before I can even travel 50 meters.
