What type of weapons do you think Firestorm and Thundershock are

If you want my personal opinion, I believe its incendiary ammunition. (ex: mass effect & section 8 prejudice.) just to name a few.

good thought, but we know ammo is ammo, the guns elemental effect is governed by the gun you use, not its ammo.

Firestorm sounds like it could be perhaps a "Grenade Launcher" and Thundershock most likely a "Alien Shotgun".

Agreed, or they maybe similar to the healing gun but obviously do elemental damage

There was an E-Mail that went out that only some ppl got for some reason or another but it stated that the Thundershock was a shotgun with the Electric effect and I believe the Firestorm was a assault rifle mod.

I think firestorm and thundershock are going to be mods you can add into any gun. They said you could take apart guns using the salvage matrix(i think that is what its called) and take your favorite parts for another gun. Im pretty sure the two are just parts you can add into another gun.
