Outfits / Headgear - Overpriced

I love the game and I know playing the game is for free and I also know there are server costs. But 1320 MS Points ($ 16.50!!!) for just a new complete outfit?? I've paid 50 bucks for the game and till now I've spent over 80 $ (!!!!!) for damn loot boxes and I did not get a SINGLE ORANGE Weapon....

Every outfit in the shop can be gained in the game by doing pursuits of some type. They just won't be the color you would obtain in the shop.

I guess I am not one to judge, but I can't imagine myself spending money to buy anything in Defiance that I can get naturally through hard work and time. Loot boxes with cash? Insane in my opinion, especially when you realize that the odds of getting the fabled ORANGE weapons are stacked against you (and what good are the ORANGE weapons anyway?).

Imagine how many outfits you could have bought with that $80.00 you wasted on loot boxes though. (just say'n)

Wait....you actually SPENT money to get lockboxes? Keys drop like rain, just run around doing the hellbug mini events (not arkfalls), alot of them usually drop about 4 or 5.

I figured it would cost about 90$ to buy all the headgear and outfits in defiance PC. I'd rather buy 90$ worth of inventory instead.

They aren't the same colour, so then no. you can't gain the suits in game.

well, defiance is really the first game I am ready to pay for some stuff. Orange Weapons... the problem is, I've heard that enemies will drop it very rarely and I don't want to "kill & hope" until the end of my short life...

Actually, the outfits are quite reasonably priced. $20 USD will get you two of the most expensive outfits and leave you with some bits left over. You think this is pricey? Go look at the Cash Shop for Tera or Champions Online or DCUO or even GW2. In Tera, the new maid outfit they just rolled out for Elins will cost you $40 cash for one of them or $60 cash for both of them.
