I think the only way you will be able to compete with the information output of a wiki is if you have access to some sort of API to retrieve game data. Otherwise, I think you'll end up falling victim to obsolete data. If you do happen to have access to an API, or have an easy way to retrieving game data, then I would be 100% interested in supporting and contributing to a website like yours.

Just make sure you are encrypting passwords with salt in your DB, and we're all good. :-)
