Timers are based on real time, not game time, otherwise the boost would pretty much last indefinitely.

Hi Sledgehammer - I haven't received the boosts nor title in my claims. Does that mean I an not eligible, or is there a minor glitch?

Here is some background info: I pre-ordered the PS3 defiance collector's edition from amazon, and because of work travel did not start playing till the 11th. I received all of my preorder bonuses and amazon specific goodies. My boosts from the collector's edition are active (scrip and xp). I have linked my account with my console. Any help or clarification would be awesome. Thanks for the hard work, and thanks to you and the team for making such an awesome game!

I am truly impressed with their willingness to try and smooth things over through a rough launch. People need to remember that this is a game that spans 3 system. They have things to work out on the PC, PS3, and Xbox and all 3 of those systems are going to experience similar and completely different and random glitches and bugs.

I can tell that the console gamers are the ones who needs to learn the most patience. I have played many MMOs on PC and these are the things that happen with MMOs, weekly maintenance , servers going down, emergency patches. Stuff like that.

And the people continuing to whine about these boosts. Geez grow up. They don't have to give you anything more than they have and they are wanting to give everyone a weeks worth a boosts? Calculate the bit cost for that and hush up. You are getting a pretty substantial amount of XP and whatnot for a full week. Be grateful that they are thinking enough to give this away while they work on solutions for patching and smoothing out the game.
