how to chang servers?

to thejackalofspades , it is to my understanding it minimizes lag because it doesnt have to constantly communicate with systems so far away.

to ewen , i was unaware EU players had different psn stores since i have never had the option to use a EU psn store (i am US). but i am very interested in your theory if that is the case , i would like some clarification from a EU player to if this works and if you have the option to use your choice of EU or US psn store.

Other MMOs have managed it. I just saw on their twitter that they're attempting it but its "not as easy as flipping a switch" which I get.
Also, yes. The region you set when you create a PSN account effects the store you're connected to and the servers.

I don't do it but there are people I know that have a US account as your store have different content to the euro store, when I see one of them I'll ask how they did it.
