Uh if its like the nano injector mod, it makes the elemental effect occur more often. Like all guns have a % chance to cause their effect, say only 1 out of 10 rounds will burn someone, depending on the mod it will make it 2 of every 10

According to the wiki its the chance of a weapons effect activating on an enemy. For example if you have an AR with fire element it has a higher chance to set them on fire.

If you have any kind of energy weapon ie Fire effect, it boosts the chance of it happening. Times percentage wise, so instead of one in ten shots causing effective fire effect it will drop to one in seven shots causing effect.

These are very underrated and a great mod for early players looking to increase their weapon damage.

Fire on an AR or LMG with a good Trigger % mod can drastically change damage.
