Didnt know you could have different power per loadout. Feel like such a noob haha.

well, my guy's a tank so i use overcharge mainly, i guess it depends on what roles you want your characters to have and what kind of situation you might get into, overcharge is excellent for arkfalls, decoy and blur are awesome for sidequests as well as cloak, different powers are great for different situations...like i said my guys a tank and a heavy hitter so overcharge is paramount for him and the other ego powers are pretty much useless for that kinda build, combine that with some really good perks and voila, you got epic destruction...use perks thatll work fluidly with what powers you choose to use and itll go smoothly. my tank is set up like this
overcharge
perks:
thick-skinned
scavenger
detachment
cellular armor
i havent even unlocked the rest of my perk slots yet, but when i do ill be adding:
nerves of steel
intimidation
energy leech
loyalty
kill or be killed
thats how many slots i need to unlock but when i do those are the perks ill use cuz they go so well with a tank character in my opinion lol, its all about tastes and what works fluidly together
Don't forget one of the (in my opinion) most useful pieces of overcharge - it reduces recoil AND it fully reloads your active weapon. Imagine running almost empty on an LMG, then popping overcharge and having another 80+ bullets ready to go.
If you pre-ordered from steam (which I did) you got the scavenger skill for free. That means you could pick decoy, use 2-3 skillpoints and pick up overcharge directly. Atm I have enough points to have all four at the same time without that trick (if I didnt put multiple points in several perks), although due to the spec I have currently, I can't quite reach blur yet![]()

Character: Blackwolfe (EU)

From a gameplay perspective, I like Decoy the best when soloing PvE and I like the defensive Perks around Decoy.
However, Weapon XP (and therefore, Weapon Skill) is based on damage done. Do more damage, level your weapon skills faster. So I started using Overcharge in co-op missions, for faster weapon skill. Now I'm finding myself less and less interested in switching back to Decoy for solo work.
