Depends on your view point....what Trion are pretty much saying here is 'Sorry the launch is rough, (It's an mmo, in all fairness anyone who wasn't expecting a rough launch obviously hasn't played one before, but I digress) and sorry the game isn't what we advertised it as, but here, have a load of arbitrary stuff that really makes no difference to anything at all! And be grateful about it!'

I knew exactly what I was buying. Its like WoW giving me a week of playtime because the Cata servers were down all week.

Dang thats a bummer you feel it doesn't have enough content.

Compared to a shooter it has WAY MORE content. Compared to other MMOs it falls short.

Still I think it was advertised as stated (in advertising so im crucial about it).

Ill chalk it up to "This game wasn't your cup of tea". I see where you're comin from, but I will argue however that a weeks worth of boosts is an adequate compensation for launch week woes.

The game is what i pretty much expected in terms of what it was supposed to offer. To me they were just under prepared server-wise. They should of done beta testing months before, gradually uping to population to like 100,000. then doing the math to see where their servers capacity was. Granted there would of been issues (like most popular mmo's week 1) but they would of been better prepared to handle them. As far as the "gift" for sticking it out....it's crap. People who bought either the limited or ulitimate editions, are still getting screwed. We paid for boosting that we are not getting back. Im glad that they are at least giving everyone something for their "sticking it out" but what about the 3-5 days that was paid for that we couldn't use? We would of gotten the 1 week boost gift with the regular version. Interesting to see if they do something for LE and UE owners.

once you get it keep checking your claim area and boost area to see if you have all your boost going. don't want to be missing that!!

So, you weren't one of the people crying out to Trion to give them stuff because of a rough launch?

I honestly could care less, the boosts will be welcome. the title will sit there until I decide I want to use it . and I'll go back to happily playing this game.
