Question about Loadouts

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums here and I had a quick question about player loadouts I was hoping someone could answer for me. I've heard in a one of the live streams recently that our characters are able to set multiply loadouts for perks and powers after a certain level. My question(s) is do we know what level or EGO rating we need for this feature to become available and do we know how it will or might work? Like, are we able to switch it on the fly whenever or do we have to go to a specific location to change it?

I gotta say I'm really looking forward to this game coming out in a few weeks. I only just found out about both the game and the show a little under two weeks ago, after I saw the 30 second live-action trailer as an advertisement through YouTube. And I'm really glad I took the time to investigate a little further after I saw it. And thanks to anyone whose able to answer my questions or point me in the right direction for me to find.

I believe it should be available as soon as you start to use your ego powers and you can switch them any time you open your menu ( sorry I don't really know but I did see that stream )

It doesn't take too long, but you have to unlock perks to go all the way over to unlock the other powers. *just like unlocking any perk*

As for the actual amount of time it will take is still under NDA.

the exact time to build them is still being tweaked, so NDA im afraid.

at first you only have 1 loadout and the more your ego power the more loadout you unlock . in the live stream overload was around 100ego power and had 3 loadout i think (not sure )

Like the others have said;

The higher your Ego the more loadout slots you open up.

As far as switching between loadouts, this is still under discussion. The conversation taking place is do they make it easy to hit a button and switch between them? Or do we have to open the character menu and select the loadout then back out.

Now i tested this with using a controller on the PC and lets just say it takes maybe 1 second?ish to swap between your loadouts.

If aiming with a controller wasn't so different than a mouse i might be a controller convert. Since both driving and loadout swapping is much MUCH easier with a controller.

Pertaining to loadouts, if I selected the survivalist am I stuck with a sniper rifle, or at some point can I obtain different types of primaries like SMGs, ARs, Shottys etc..?

Are you in the beta? Because it takes like 5 minutes to get another gun.
