    Every patch breaks more ****...

    New bugs since beta
-sound stuck on a loop until you close the game (this one is new since yesterday)
-performance pretty much halved, my gpu isn't being used anymore I used to get a locked 60 fps
-bgs crashing when you try to join them (new since this week)
    -weapons getting deleted
    -big pvp map removed.

    Number of issues fixed? 0

i haven't noticed a performance difference since beta 1 really. 2600k 680 gtx ftw... capped at 60fps, lows of 20-30 in high pop combat scenarios. about what i expect from mmo's in general.

culling in mass pve did get improved recently, supposedly, not that i do alot of arkfalls so i wouldn't notice.\

things i personally see have either been in since betas or have been in since early launch. like the looping battle music thing started like 2nd or 3rd day. or the vanishing enviro objects thing.

most settings have never saved between sessions. i think they did fix it to some extent with the keybinds recently. but even if the tick positions save the actual settings do not. except sound settings, which have thanklfully saved since launch(and i think going back to beta). that includes motion blur. pretty much have to tick it off every session.

they did introduce a bug where your last perk slot didn't save between sessions. they seem to have fixed that since though.

See post #3 by Saraya pointing back to my and other's performance loss after patches.

I solved this by doing an uninstall/reinstall, then placing the these four files/folder from the "live" folder, back into the Defiance directory(obviously saving them before the uninstall) before running the patcher:

    -Wad (folder)
    -DefianceStartup.log
-Log.log (you may or may not have)
    -manifest.txt

The patcher then required 170mb worth of files and it was up to date.

When entering the game the performance had returned.

I've not seen anything broken yet, but it's true that many games get patched to a nearly unplayable condition soon after launch. For example SWTOR during it's first months, every patch fixed 1-2 issues but brought at least 10 more, including things like infinite money/pvp rank exploit, and they never even bothered to make any rollbacks. Planetside 2 is also like this and on top of that its developers do not read player feedback and have absolutely no idea how to balance the game.
