'Log Out' on PS3? Defiance store?

I've had the game since Day One so I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the rewards mentioned in the Dev Blog. I know that I have to Log Out and back in to get them but is this simply a matter of quitting the game via the PS button? I've seen posters mentioning a Log Out option but the only way I can see to Log Out is via the PS Button. I also don't appear to have any 'in-game' Defiance store. Any help would be appreciated.

Press start, then L2 to open the EGO wheel, then press square, its also displayed in the upper left corner when the EGO wheel is shown.

You press select, L2, then square lol to log out and to get to the store press select then l2 then go down with analog stick and should say defiance store then press x
