Lots of Defiance bashing on Steam forums

LOL, I think you just stumbled on to a genius idea. Maybe somebody needs to make a multi-tier game called "Troll Battles"... let the trolls PvP each other in combat and in conversation... while the rest of us sit in the stands/spectatorship placing bets and laughing our arses off!

Sometimes I follow up a troll's comment with something like, "At least Mitt Romney isn't a fascist." It is often best, when trolling trollers to go completely off subject, yet remain as trollish as they are.

I read the one of the first posts on the steam page for Defiance and its clear these people saying its gonna be bad have no idea what they are even talking about. They said the game will fail because its not free to play... Even after the facts were pointed out the people still argued. Pretty pathetic really.

Has anyone been over there? There are people making a lot of threads trying to steer people away from Defiance and into Firefall without ever having played Defiance.

Even people on the Firefall forums discussing Defiance have been more open minded, and are even saying positive things about Defiance.

Think it's hurting Steam pre-orders? Those forums seem to be completely un-moderated. I've been working my butt off over there trying to counter the trolls. :/

Who made you lord savior of Defiance? Not everyone is going to like what is being offered in this game and they have the right to express themselfs too.

(PS - This goes along with what I've been saying pretty much everywhere lately on the interwebs... if people don't want to like something, sure, that's fine, that's their right and choice... but they can at least have the civility enough to go somewhere else and say it... [kind of like in real-life, I wouldn't go into the house of a person who thinks one way while preaching completely opposite views as it's blatantly disrespectful] -- it blows my mind how trolls go to something dedicated to a subject, object, or cause... only to hate on it, while others who are trying to support it end up derailed because of it. Why not go make their own sites about why they hate the item or why it sucks and support that instead... would make the interwebz a much better place for everybody to coexist. So rather than go onto the DEFIANCE forums to hate on it and push/preach FireFall... they should go to the FIREFALL forums to do so... would think that'd be simple common sense. Though, in this day and age... "common sense" is such a stretch, I think it now couples in with "genius mentality".)
