    We Applaud You, Trionworlds

After recently receiving the email from TrionWorlds saying that they "sincerely apologize" for launch issues and wanted to make amends to me by providing me with a variety of different boosts and a title, I felt the need to applaud TrionWorlds. I further felt the need after reading the bottom signature from Nathan Richardsson (VP Development), that said he was a proud member of a 150 PERSON TEAM. Crazy to imagine how much work these guys have put in, and are going to put in in the future with only having a 150 person team.
Now, I play on the PC, and I have to say, this was one of the best MMO launches I have ever experienced. I can't talk for consoles, but I'm sure even those people who complained about being unable to log in on console would applaud TrionWorlds hard work and support to getting these things fixed.
I then read about the massive update that is coming next week, and another massive update two weeks after that, and a promise of commitment to this game. I was taken aback, not only did they APOLOGIZE for something I felt didn't need any apology for, but then they gave me some good free goodies and even told me that more content and fixes are coming, on top of all the hard work they've already put in on this game.

For all of this, I applaud you, TrionWorlds.

If you feel that TrionWorlds has done a fantastic job up to this point, and are looking forward to the future of this game, just leave a comment that says something along the lines of "I Applaud You".

If you're here to hate, go make your own thread.

I didn't get an email (yet, my phone prob hasn't updated) but I really like the responsiveness and owning up to the problems even though they are expected in such a launch, especially as ambitious as this one. This gives me lots of hope for the continuance of this game and I have high hopes for the show as well. I'm really getting into the lore and background of this show which just makes the game that much better.

Edit: Nevermind, just got the email. Bravo TrionWorlds.

Aww, how nice. Shock horror they sound like Human beings rather than computers. Learn something from them, other developers.

"We're in this for the (very) long haul"

That right there is music to my ears.

I fell in love with this game the very moment I combined Blur and a shotgun, but I fell even more deeply in love with the frank and open dev communication. And Richardsson cracks me up with his blog entries. I've been playing online games for a very long time now, but I think this is the first time where I've actually -liked- the staff.
