Is there any hope?

Is there really any hope for this game? New community manager, no communication. Feels like same old same old for the last 5+ years. This game has so much potential as mentioned by many in many different posts over the years. We all stick around hoping that in the slightest chance that we get heard and this game becomes what it should be. At the minute things needs fixing and these have been issues since release(ACHIEVEMENTS/TROPHIES). Every thread or post just goes ignored by the devs/community manager. Broken pursuits since release, broken masteries since paradise update, broken vehicles since forever, broken weapons, bugs in coop. How hard can it be to get some response on what they are working on??

We all know they will release solstice event soon and probably address 1 or 2 issues and forget about they rest of the broken mess but with this update will break more things so we arent really any better off.

I for one would prefer tthem to get the game fixed before adding any new content and new class. I know im not on my own with these thoughts./wishes but it wont happen as this is a free to play game and they need to make money. But in the long run they wont be making money as we will all have left if changes and fixes happen. We also need regular updates and communication which we have been asking for for how many years and it just goes ignored.

The saddest thing is nothing will change and the small few like myself and about 20 others will stick around and keep playing in hope that things change. Its sad but its true

with resident evil 2 and anthem on the way its highly unlikely i’ll be on after the end of jan/feb, i’ll give it until then to improve, although mystic seph predicts that if they release some more new, broken, game changing proto’s with solstice strike or even ones with crazy vfx like pumpkin patch, that will be the final straw for most of the few remainng players left

Im with you on resident evil 2. Pre ordered the second it was able to be. Going to be to be the best remake of all time. Seriously cannot wait for its release. But on the the broken proto side, it will keep a few playing until it gets patched, only way they reach top of leaderboards is when its broken. To be honest ill prob stick around until/IF the achievements have been fixed and if no more achievements are planned ill be gone. I have gave Defiance a 2nd chance (after D13) and its failed over and over again.

well, they did fix d13 store. That has been down for what, 5 months...? Granted some things have been around for longer than that, but it is still something.

Probably too long, but I am still giving it until around January before some aspects of communication improve. It might not happen, but it would be wonderful to see lol.

Somehow I have the feeling the real devs (who would be capable do something really useful for this game) are long gone from the Defiance crew. The basic bug/glitch repair and corrections shouldn't take so much time even a very small team...

As far as I'm concerned, I'm willing to give it a few more weeks to see if things improve - both communication wise, and in-game bug fixes.

There are too many other games out there that I'd rather support if things here don't change for the better.
