Runners Colour Bug

Since SS started there is a bug where Runners now take on the colour pallet of nearby vehicles.

At first I couldn't figure out why it was changing colour - but then I had a friend in the group with me pull out his vehicle and my runner changed to that colour... naturally I told him to do it again, and again, and again - and each time we were able to change the colour.

I mean as fun and cool as it is - it's actually very bad because the runner is constantly revering to its original colour, this means the whole time I am playing I am watching my runner change colours on a level that would induce epileptic seizures. It changes about twice a second. I'm not even saying this to be funny - it's like staring into a strobe light and makes me feel ill when using runners.

Additional info:
-It doesn't happen to rollers.
-It does in fact grab colour pallets FROM rollers and runners alike.

It's been happening before SS, either around since launch, or sometime before Hulker Hell. However, yeah, seeing the constant color flashes can get a bit annoying at times.

Hmm, interesting - I didn't actually start experiencing myself until the patch the other day. It was funny for a moment but the flash becomes bad.

Good afternoon, Arkhunter and thank you for the report. Is this still happening for you? Can you DM me some more information please? What specific vehicle is this happening with, is it more than one? Does it go away? What triggers it? Any information you can provide would be great! A video capture of this happening would be even better!

Hey Zeph, I'll send you a pm in 20 min or so when I go on the game. It was happening as of yesterday using the Terrestrial Motorworks Hannibal 800R.

It seems to trigger based on proximity to other vehicles being spawned. When my friend pulls out his own vehicle, mine will copy it's colours. As for the bug going away it's very hit or miss. Sometimes it will stop flickering, but maintain the wrong colour - other times it does fix, that part seems random.

Interesting I didnt know about a chameleon runner. Unfortunately this is just a base game runner Terrestrial Motorworks Hannibal 800R. but perhaps lingering code from said runner is there?

It's odd because now I'm struggling to get the bug happening again -_-

Yeah because we all played Defiance before 2050... right? right???? Yeah - guess what, I only started Defiance in November. I'm not aware of what has been around since 2013. Especially considering this is the "Defiance 2050 Bug Reports" and Defiance 2050 isn't from 2013. GG mate.
