Or you can just destroy your VS and replicate it again. I don't see many other gun being half as problematic as the VS.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone still spitting skitterlings from all their gun WANT to use the mastery bug. If your guns are still bringing in the critters, don't try to sell anyone that it is happening against your will and there's nothing to do about it. At this point it's part of the game, so feel free to use the ****tiest smg you got as a ultimate weapon of doom, but don't insult us, we're no fools, we know that if you wanted to stop it, all it would cost you is 50 cores and a bunch of salvages (all resources you're overflowing with if you're 5k).

My VS is 9 stars and as ive stated in previous posts my replicator produced guns higher than 5k as i tested out the side misson bug to see if worked, not knowing it would ruin the replicator. So until they fix replicator or replace my 9 starred VS im pretty much stuck with it. 9 star weapons are so rare. But come on this bug has been around since the PTS was testing the arkfall changes and shoudlnt have even gone live and shoudl have been fixed staright away as its pretty much breaking the game.

And before anyone jumps into the 'you cheated to 5k' i was already 5k before trying the side missions guns bug. I was one of the first on xbox eu to hit 5k

Wow...that downright sucks Drakenroo. :/ In the open-world environment, the Mastery Bug is something that just can't be entirely avoided (since the radial menu is fundamental for accessing certain parts of the game). :/ I also have legendaries that dropped before Hulker Hell (a few at 5000 as well), and I can't see myself getting rid of them considering that getting the rolls that someone would want are very low. The rolls I have on those legendaries work perfectly for getting the highest bonuses of each stat (balanced for all stats and not just of one thing). I imagine your case is probably similar to mine. Anyone giving you crap over that is just plain in the wrong since it is not really your fault. I don't know about prototypes for you, but that is probably best saved for a follow-up from you first.

Yes i had every single proto type at 5k before the Paradise update so im getting alot of bonuses pop. And as stated in my post above and in previous posts before my replicator produces guns that can go past 5k so i cant even replicate the weapons unitl they fix this also.

1 or 9 stars doesn't make much difference for VS, its damages comes from the skitterlings, not from the hit. And nobody cares if your protos are >5k, that's just another red herring.

Feel free to keep (ab)using the mastery bug. I can't say that I wouldn't do the same if I had the privilege. But don't expect that anyone will believe the stuff you just posted; anyone with an ounce of common sense can smell the BS from a mile away.

everyone is thinking that they wont be in the office until sometime after the January 7th. they did say in that live stream that there is gonna be a pvp update . maybe it will be a part of that update.

I look forward to that update. I don't do much PvP when I do play, but it was, and is, really sad that the capture and hold maps have been disabled since launch. Effectively blocking off a lot of pursuits and vehicle rewards tied to them.

Also, it's unfortunate for those that DO play PvP as to the best of my knowledge, the vendor still only sells cosmetic gear only usable in PvP. Which may look cool for see people, but really you aren't going to be spending time in awe of your opponent's suit so much as you will be trying to perforate it. :-P

I care that all my weapons are 5k. I also care about the collection of weapons I have obtained. Ive spent alot of time and money on this game.

But yeah which part is BS by the way. Just because someone has a lot of legendary guns in the game, has every proto, has a 5k nade of every type, only missing 1 shield at 5k, you think its bs. When you have put as much time and effort into this game like i have then you would understand how much I have actually done. My lowest weapon skill is 37, 450million clan contribution, only missing level 3 on weapon pursuits, only missing level 3 on enemy group pursuits(level 4 on volge, but only need 200 more Viscera), plus cant finish guided rocket kills as they dont count. I am a completionist in every game I play.

None of that matters the slightest bit. The only mastery bug that's really annoying to others is the VS. At the end of the day, you know how to stop the mastery bug from affecting you personally, so it's your choice to keep (ab)using it or not.

And if you think the only probelm is the skitterlings then you are oblivious to the other bugs happening with mastery bonus. Not one person has ever said im hacking/modding due to skitterlings. Its the random one shotting that happens that it causing the issues.

But according to you then i should just delete all of my weapons? Dont you think its a bit unfair for me to have to delete all my pre paradise weapons?

Or what could happen is the devs fix this issue which has been happpening for over 3 months and done absolutely nothing about it.

Destroying and remaking the gun does not fix it. Many people have tried. The fact is if you had the guns pre patch the masteries were bound to that character. There are alot of rumors being spread to destroy your stuff and it goes away. These are head games and guilt trips. The only way to not have it is not to play. Thanks for this info. I didnt relaise that even if i destroyed weapins I would still have the bug. Like i said iin a previous post. I just tag all arkfalls now and go to fast travel point and wait for rewards so i dont get accused of hacking/modding.

I know the feeling. Knowing for a fact you can beat anyscore someone puts up, but uppon doing so they scream hack, mastery bug, and so on. People calling for another atomizer nerf cause they can't get one to drop. Techmag and fire ammo out scored atomizer during hulker hell.

In the end remember it's your game. Play it there will always be someone jealous of what you achieved early on. D13 was the same way. Playing early acquiring mark 1 items pre nerf. Many items contained multiples of the same stat. Using these weapons later lead to nerf this nerf that complaints. In time these weapons were seen as loyalty tags of honor catching 10s of millions on the market.
