Bug report: Dmg values on invader infector types are not working

    Hi,

After testing an invader in both pve and pvp, it feels like the dmg card numbers on the invader type infectors are not working properly in either setting. Based on the dmg card, the invader should cause dmg on each infection. However, its current behavior is similar to a canker infector type which has a 0 value dmg card and only does a double digit (60-80) fixed dmg value applied on infection. On top of this, the invader lacks proper dmg/sec modifiers that the canker produces. I do notice that every 5-8 infections there is a dmg value, but I’ve determined that’s from bug hatches consistent with all infector types.

Can someone from the dev team double check the behavior of the invader infector type and publish an explanation of whether this is expected behavior or an error? Thank you in advance!

Thanks? This is a bug report. The invader infector class is not functioning as stated on the damage card and is now behaving incorrectly. It should be doing damage per infection using the damage card numbers.

players do 65% less damage in pvp. thats why your numbers are off in pvp vs pve. it working as intended .

? It’s certainly not working as intended, nor is this thread meant to talk about pvp vs pve dmg card differences. The dmg card numbers are not registering at all and appear to be acting like a 0 dmg canker instead of an 18k dmg invader per infection. The behavior is consistent in both pve and pvp indicating that the weapon type is bugged. Please read the bug report more carefully before posting.
