ATTN: Trion Developers | Please Make Nim Shandu Optional Co-op

Sicne no one wants to nerf this guy...I changed my mind on the nerf...I still think its only FAIR to us "non experianced" MMOers/gamers to ATLEAST have the OPTION of being able to have ATLEAST one friend help with Nim.

To those saying I suck and to stop playing and whatever esle ignorant you want to say. CAN IT! I dont care. Some of us arent as good as others as well as WE HAVE LIVES. I dont dedicate my life to videogames. I have fought bosses in the past. Mike Tyson and Super Macho man were THEEEE hardest in my life. I still cant beat them..well Mike yea, Macho Man no. and I will bet my life that no one here has beat him either...BUT BACK TO THE TOPIC....

Please Please Please let ATLEAST one friend help beat this guy...It will make the game experiance better. That mission is the only mission I have left to do and if that prevents me and others from being able to play the rest of the game as the 5DLCS that i paid for I, as well as others WILL get rid of the game. Im sorry but its the gods honest truth.

    Thanks.

I love how you talk about ignorant people insulting you, and then in the next sentence you insult the same people...Now that is irony!

    Anyways...

I am a strong protester of the continued dumbing down of games to attract casual gamers, all for the desire to make as much money as possible. It's been an ever growing issue for at least a decade, and is now only being truly realized. I remember when final bosses were suppose to be challenging. You may be surprised to here this... In the past, people would die in games! I know it's shocking... People also had to play without following a waypoint or a man with the words "Follow" above him. Man those people sure had it rough...

If its any consolidation I'm struggling with this but love the challenge of a very difficult boss and I would class myself as an experienced gamer with a life

It would be sad if this boss gets nerfed to cater for the less experienced like Trion has done with Rift bosses in the past

Its nice to complete the end boss as quick as possible but no necessary. Go away play side missions and experience up then come back at a later date and kill the mofo and feel the sense of achievement rather than have his head silver spooned for you

Rather than nerf Nim or any of the solo dungeons they should add all story mission solo dungeons to co-op matchmaking. Allow the player to solo them by going to the marker or group up for them via matchmaking. Obviously only allow players that have reached that point in the story to enter those dungeons. This gives less skilled players the option to have friends help them while avoiding Trion having to use the nerf bat.

Solo'ers and groupers benefit while Trion ends up with more matchmaking maps without having to create new content from scratch. With the upcoming patch that allows you to replay story missions I would see this option being added as a great way to revisit these dungeons with friends.

This isn't a regular MMO, this is a third-person shooter with online capabilities and online persistence, more like it. Experience in other MMO's really has no place here, as many others know.

This game is more like a TPS Borderlands/Mass Effect mash-up based purely around your skill as a player, not the equipment you have looted, which is a giant breath of fresh air.

That being said, while Nim is surely annoying and difficult, after finally beating him, I felt a huge sense of gratification. It's not overly difficult, just more difficult than I suspected.

It's fine the way it is.

P.S. Just respec to overcharge and use a shotgun. A ton of damage since he likes to move in close, and in later stages when he gains projectiles, use the enviroment as cover from them. It only took me 3 tries across all three stages to beat him. 1 restart in the second stage and 2 in the final. You can be cheap back, after, play the game to win.

I beat him on my 1st try by using Blurr and VOT pump action shotgun. Challenging but yet somewhat easy you know? If Shandu gets nerfed, that'll be just plain moronic...
