Every grenade and shield I’ve got has been below 5000 power. I’ve had to sell Legendary gear to the vendor because it dropped 50-100 points below. The one 5k shield and grenade I do have took all of my 1500 reputation from 2 factions and all my scrip. I’ve been 5K for a few months at least. All items in my inventory are at 5k except 2 and that’s because they are epics and are only used for bounty contracts.

Thats strange. Every nade or shield i get as an award for finishing any event is dropping at 5k. If i purchase shield or nade from rep vendor or floaty it drops below 5k.

Are you always set to 5k, or are you below 5k when this happens? I have not seen this happen yet on PS4, but I would like to know details that way I can test this for myself...

Every item i own is 5k. So im always 5k. I will buy a lower power level gun to drop my power and see what the results are

Okay thanks. I can hit 5k myself but I have always been lower since I have a setup I like to use with some non-5k items. I will have to check it out myself as well then...hmm.

I opened 6 boxes last night during the event, twice I received plasma piercing grenades (4800 4900 +), they adhere to the enemy and have a delay of 3 sec (interesting but I would have preferred something more useful), luckily in the last one I received a "polished singularity".

I'm 5k, have been for months, every shield and nade I purchase or drops, is below 5k, as it has been for me since hitting 5k. I think I may have gotten 1 additional nade from a vendor that was 5k, maybe 2 weeks after reaching 5k...ALL NADES AND SHIELDS, since then have been below...including during this event.

Only thing being 5K has done for me is give be bragging rights to say I’m 5K and paint a huge target on my characters back for enemy attacks. Monolith will easily shoot over half it’s rockets at just me. Every.Single.Time Never fails.

None of the 5k shields n nades are from vendor or box . They are ground drops . I think I’m 499? but because I refuse to equip blue 5k gear
