So now that engineer class ( and other classes as well) have made a complete joke of the hot shots and rampages can we finally forget about having them as contracts? Even at the best of times they are some of the most dated feeling content in game.

See here, this mind-set that they are terrible... drives me nuts. It's been whined about plenty on the forums for years.
Look. They are simple. Take less time to complete than all the normal ones you AREN'T complaining about. Most ark hunters still do daily and weeklies... and for a routine and mundane task I've been personally doing for over 5+ years now... WHY IN THE WORLD do you ONLY want the ones that TAKE LONGER to do???
Christ man... who wants to spend MORE time getting contracts done. Go Ahead... Raise your hands if you agree with this __________________________________________________ __________________________________ mindset. Feel free to fill in the line with your own expletives, hope I left you all enough room.
If you don't like them, can't appreciate them, then just don't do them. Use your free will. Don't make things harder for the rest of us.

Use of class powers makes them far to easy, and they have always been boring as hell. A good challenge does not need to take loads of time. Is it to much to asking for interesting content, and not missions that feel like they belong in gta 3 from like more than 15 years ago.

Well now that's fine... wanting new and more interesting content we can both agree with and far more interesting to talk about than often repeated dissing of the old content that WAS created 7+ years ago. Wanting something challenging is fine... so give them some ideas on what you'd like to see in game here on the forums.
The dev's certainly know we need genuinely new content... that's why both Expos and Silicon Valley wasn't released at launch, so they could redo/re-envision both.
Unfortunately the Gamigo purchase gutting the dev team set back any good intentions the team envisioned back in beta. The World Event story arc the devs were planning and building going from Crusader through to Engineer was seriously curtailed by the purchase.
We are now back in a waiting period for what Gamigo's limited resources towards 2050 allows the dev team to develop next. I'm sure there's ideas in the works. Now's as good a time as any to chime in what you wish for next.

Im sure players have plenty of ideas for potential contracts, perhaps more use of the roadside emergencies like the syngen contracts. Make more use of arksfalls and sieges in contracts, like kill a specific number of matrons in a siege, or defeat the war master, or heal a certain number of players, etc . Perhaps a contract could be to loot and build a specific weapon. I feel like really the posiblities could be so numerous it is exactly why hanging on the this same old content is so unnecessary.

The most frustration of all of these is sharpshooting savior. It’s been a headache since last gen and even more so in 2050. My vote would be to remove it and the 3-4 time trials that can’t seem to be completed.

Unbelievable!!!
I cannot understand anyone wanting to do away with the hotshots or rampages as contracts.
They are the quickest contracts to do and also help with the Ark Hunter Bounty contracts to be completed also.
If you do not like doing something, - the answer is simple... Do NOT do it then.
Do not take the enjoyment out of the game for other people.
And as for Sharpshooting Saviour.... If you cannot understand how to use the sight in that hotshot/rampage, then I suggest you start making a note which direction the enemy comes from, how many of them, and how you use the wavy lines in the sight, and line them up and kill them. This really is a very simple contract and teaches you to use the sight in a sniper rifle.
If you do not know how to do something, the answer is simple ----- Just ask how it can be done, and maybe you will be surprised that people can explain things to you.
Long live the HOTSHOTS & RAMPAGES .........................
If YOU cannot understand that the majority of the community was against having minigames as contracts then perhaps YOU need to pay attention to the forums more. Players hated them in D13 and they hate them even more in 2050. You’re the exception.
I’ve been playing since 2014. I am fully aware of how to play your precious Sharpshooting Savior as I already have gold in it on 2 characters in 2050 (5000 power and 4500 power) and on 5 characters in D13 (all 6000 Ego). So no more insults about understanding, ok? I simply do not like being forced to play content I don’t enjoy. Yes, I write forced because they have to be done if we want faction currency.
I’d assume you also want to keep the 3-4 time trials that are bugged or impossible to complete with gold and before you reply, I also have every race gold in D13 and all but these 3-4 gold in 2050. I also have max level for vehicles in both games. So I know how to steer through rings, drift and when to use the boost. I don’t think they should be contracts either.
The point is mini games and time trials should not be mandatory. They should be optional. Just as they were in D13. You’re the exception. The majority of the community don’t like them and never wanted them as contracts.
