It's a shame that a lot of people are seeing the game as 'finished' when they beat whoever the final guy (Nim or something) is when they get there. I'm miles short of that (I believe) as I'm trying to enjoy the journey rather than rush to the destination, and perhaps if people DO just focus on the destination then (as is their right I guess) then they may feel the game is a bit short.
There's a kind of locust ethic to many players these days. Turn up as fast as possible, gorge on the content they like, demand more and then move on. It's one of the reasons that the game needed to be B2P as at least that way Trion get a bit of money and can try/hope to lure people back every few months for a binge/purge on a DLC. It'll be a shame (and seems a big short sighted) if a lot of people quit within the first month when there's two big (reportedly) patches and the tie in's with the series that hasn't started yet within that time frame. We can see how the game looks on the first of June as a real test...
