Got my first orange weapon yesterday..a great FRC SAW.
It came in the fifth 'tier three' box i opened.

Best way to get them is do Arkfalls and other events,get keycodes,salvage most items you get and buy keycodes with it..then buy tier three boxes.
Sooner or maybe later, you will find one..just hope its a weapon type you like!

I got very lucky when I initially opened my first lockboxes, around EGO 50.

-- Orange semi-auto sniper
-- Orange nomad SMG
-- Orange scattergun

And I haven't picked up an orange since. Not from T4s, T3s or T2s. And I've been buying around 2-3 T3s a day since launch.

buy lvl 4 lock boxes and only lvl 4's I spent my first 5 days buying lvl 3's and got nothing since then ive bought lvl 4's and have gotten 3 golds and 2 purples.

I've found an orange combat shotgun and an orange BMG at vendors.
