I have several friends who are clan founders, I can say that the type of player marks the profile of a clan and how it is molded to the members.
Most of them cultivate cooperation among members of other clans and that is how it should be, although I see that others still do not learn.
I also see toxic people who are delayed in the coops while the others struggle to finish it, their deaths in arkfall are very low (intentionally) and although the pvp of Def'50 is a joke compared to the previous Defiance I see that some people are they become hostile in the chats and all those bad habits end up being contagious, they affect the clan and sometimes they generate dissolutions.
I am grateful that in my clan I am notified of a daily contract or a weekly, coop, arkfalls and everything that helps me save time, I do not have much.

It all starts with people who are willing to help others. A good clan needs those willing participants to grow and flourish. A good clan should grow friendships as well as that is a key to a good working relationship with your clan mates.

Really lad it is just a lack of consideration and communication as always. In the larger scheme of things their customers do not matter.

Heres how ive been running the 13th dragoons since day 2 2013 back then only the beta players had a clue what they were doing at an arkfall and many arkfalls ran out of time mainly due to killing all the skiterling a friend and me decided to start a clan to teach other players what to do at arkfalls eventually it turned into teaching them how to play the game and other thing we had learned from our time playing and we would respond to any calls in chat for help. We have a core group of vet around 20 players and the rest of our ranks are people we trained who stayed with us the rest are players who just started the game and were teaching how to play once there trained there given the choice to stay on with us or move on to another clan in that case i try to match them with a clan who would fit there play style and i would go talk to that clan leader to set it up the same if they knew which clan they wanted to join. Now a days we only train 25 new players at a time we still help anyone in chat who calls for help and everyone in the clan has the rank of leader since in 2016 a player got promoted up to leader due to lag when i wasnt on and by the time i got on he already kicked 90% of the clan out also make everyone they same rank so they know there were all equal . thats how ive been running the 13th dragoons for the last 7 years and we have only 2 rules help out anyone who needs help and no cheating . hope this helps out but remember what works for us might not work in another clan

this doesn't bother me either, I didn't know it bothered so many players; i stay now so I don't hurt any feelings, but if i have the player muted i will not stay nor do I care what they don't have to say

Yep. 13th been a good clan since d13, and has been good on d50. Same cannot be said for another clan that allows their members to cheat, and were almost full of shield glitchers. Cant Name the clan, because name shaming is against the rules. I think you know who I am referring too.

Yes, I am a guy, that uses a female character. She has been around since Diablo(1996), and I have no intentions of retiring her, just because some of you men are scared you will get virtual cooties.

Ive seen the "all leaders" backfire before. Not saying it wont work just saying ive seen a negative result from being in a clan that me and 3 others filled to over 300 on d13. 300 leaders with no founder creates chaos since no one has any admin privileges. We had players recruiting others just to cause fighting since it was known another clannie had problems with said new addition. Nothing could be done since the new recruit was made leader promptly upon entry. Now this was all done due to the fact the founder bailed due to unknown reasons. What we found to be the safest route was cap the leaders @ 4. Everyone else gets set to member and can earn officer but no higher. This frees up officer chat for decision making between those that earned a say, the founder, and his 4 "horsmen" if you will. We chose this method because if the founder had a real life issue he could pass it to any 1 of the 4 and return when real life permits without fear of a major clan dump while he/she was gone. This worked well for a good chunk of time till most quit entirely due to trions decisions.
Your clan is fortunate to have strong leadership that from the timetables isnt going anywhere and i do hope they understand and continue to support you positively. Without you though chaos is very possible and only needs 1 bad seed in your absence to ruin what you have worked very hard to build. I wish you guys good luck and drops and hope this is food for thought if you ever need to take an extended break please pick a very close friend whom you trust deeply to pass founder to (temp) till your teturn.

That what we were running back then i had my vets as leaders everyone else was an officer it worked good until it lagged while my 2nd was promoting a new person and they ended up with leader and we lost 252 members but im the founder so been now problems so far but thanks for pointing out the draw backs that could occur
