I only use my red (sometimes it magically recolours to a dull green) quad bike but its so frustrating with its glitchy quirks like suddenly pulling a 180 when i land not to mention the thing being useless if it passes within eye shot of a wall fence or guardrail.
Do rollers have better handling or are they just as likely to be bogged on a blade of grass or encounter super dense air pockets that cause random non newtonian physics during jumps?
This has been addressed over and over again. They don't seem to care much to fix this. I made a post about this months ago too. It's such an easy fix. Just add a few more minutes more to the time so people can get gold with a half way decent run. Add more time and most people won't complain about this.

Everytime madera race is in contracts, someone starts a thread on it, nearly every week this is brought up. yet devopers have yet to acknowledge there is legitimate issues. Just another item on a long list of things proven to drive away casual or less patient players
