If there was an achievement to complete bioshock 750 times would you do it? Thats how some of us feel with the ridiculous claim that the 'no end to content' is arkfalls and grinding kills.

Complete EVERYTHING! Goals, Achievements etc on all stages including the expansions :-)

Beating the game, in my opinion, is probably defined by beating the main mission quest line. There is a ton of additional content that I find a lot of fun. I'd have to agree, that I will play until I no longer enjoy it, or something else grabs my attention though. I really enjoy this game so far.

Achievements and other timesinks, are just that, timesinks.. Its not content.
Getting 5000 kills, is not content, grinding weapon levels is not content.

However, "beat the game" does not mean "finished", or "done with the game".

I still find lots of enjoyment in it, and I expect much more enjoyment down the line..
^This^ All of the filler in this game may be fun but it's not all that important and the way character progression works it's not all that necessary to complete these objectives. Leveling my weapon skill to max or finishing gold medal on all races, why bother really? I'm EGO level 350 or so and my highest weapon rank is like 4 or 5 in assault rifle and level 1 in every other weapon and I almost always finish in the top 10 of Arkfalls, even when I come to one halfway done. So I don't really see much need to do all this time sucking stuff just so I can get a lame helmet or some weapon rank that doesn't seem to affect anything.

Beat the main quest, and side quests. Usually I would consider doing all the raid content beating the game, but since i rarely raided I never really "beat" MMOs. It may be one reason I played WoW for so long, there was always a glass ceiling that I was never ready to put the time into to break, so i never felt as though I completed it.

Many recent games dont have that glass ceiling anymore (i dont care about hardmodes or anything like that), so i do most of the content and move on.
