A traditional MMO chat window (at least for the PC version)

I don't know whether the chat is broken or if it was prepared for consoles but the thing is that I've never seen such a weird chat window in any other MMORPG (and I've played quite a few) so I would suggest a new one for PC players. There must something wrong about the one the game currently has since I still haven't been able to read a single line from any other player, and I'm in a clan which is quite large.

The chat window, in my opinion, should be customizable, larger (if desired) and with the ability to have different tabs open at the same time. Just like the one Rift has.

Yes, maybe people would actually talk to each other more if they had a proper chat. As it is now.. you're very VERY disconnected from others in this game.

I agree with this completely. The game is fun but the interface is awful.

I don't like the fact that everyone is making a huge deal about the PC chat window, infact I'd say the Xbox chat window is 100x lamer, considering there's no keyboard, you have to select each letter individually with your joystick, it's really lame, and to make matters worse there's no VOIP like on the PC, only when you're in a group can you talk to people and that's not the way it should be for a console platform which basically only uses their voices to communicate.

No offence Slay but I don't think people are looking for why it is not -that- bad, but why it is not up to par what people have come to expect. Especially when it is something like a chat function. I agree 100% with the OP.
