Maybe I'll get the powerslide pursuit without too much back and forth. Ever since the start, I always powerslide to a stop.

See a mission on the right side of the road. Powerslide around so I can hop out of the car and be right there and not have to go around the car.

Headed to an arkfall? Powerslide so the passenger side of the car is facing so I have a little cover to start off.

    Just little things like that.

oh i try to powerslide as much as possible...sliding into a mission or whatever but as often as i want to powerslide i get a kick outta the ole action dive out the door or off the quad lol....

I'm sure it'll all add up soon enough it just seems like its one of those "never ending" pursuits

Well I don't know why this seems hard for some, it's easy if you boost to full speed, hold B and just kind of boost as you correct the oversteer. I got the 500m for runners and rollers in a matter of minutes. Rollers are definitely easier as you can almost hold full speed while sort of drifting. It's probably easier for me since I have a racing background and I play Forza a lot >.> sorry if it sounds confusing but I'd need to make a video tutorial to properly show how to do it. Ill get on it!

I don't know if u mean the left trigger brake or the handbrake. But do not use the left trigger brake at all for this. Just kind of press A and B at the same time while at full speed and you will find sliding easier.

Yeah I thought I'd have a lot more of this done than I actually do. Guess I'll have to make an effort to do less epic dismounting and replace that with powersliding.

I get sideways in DiRT2/3 and Horizon a good bit lol..granted it's a lot easier because those games are meant to be "racers"...if i'm sideways in Forza3/4 its because i made a mistake haha!!

    RLS,

Epic Dismounts are Epic, hard to wanna powerslide when you Epic Dismount into a herd of skitterlings lol

Haha yeah those are morse arcadey than the forza franchise. Forza 4 being my favorite, I like horizon but they took out the tuning factor and made it easier for the mainstream to use, which was fine because I love Forza's customization, machanics and open world in forza is just amazing!

But back on topic now lol. Defiance is no where near a racing game but it is fun to drive around in, I wish the cars had more torque because they feel so sluggish while accelerating from a dig! It makes drifting impossible >.< For the power slides I find it's easiest to just hold both A and B and just kind sway back and forth while driving full speed, takes about 45 seconds to get 500m of power slides in a roller.

Uh...you guys know you can press 'b' to use the handbrake and powerslide MUCH easier right?
