Power Slides are a pain

But back on topic now lol. Defiance is no where near a racing game but it is fun to drive around in, I wish the cars had more torque because they feel so sluggish while accelerating from a dig! It makes drifting impossible >.< For the power slides I find it's easiest to just hold both A and B and just kind sway back and forth while driving full speed, takes about 45 seconds to get 500m of power slides in a roller.

I spend 50% of my time randomly driving around in the game and looking for stuff to jump lol! I'll have to give the A + B combo a try, I don't think I've tried to use both at once.

I was also thinking... maybe it counts if you slide down a hill while holding B lol! I know a few steep cliffs at various places around the map that might work... I'll have to try that tonight.

Uh...you guys know you can press 'b' to use the handbrake and powerslide MUCH easier right?

Well I found that if you get up to full speed on a long stretch of road and then use boost while using the handbrake, you can actually maintain your speed while "powersliding" kind of like drifting! Makes the 500 meters go by really fast!

GT is in the signature, you ever wanna get sideways on some racers lemme know. Mr. Stroud is right, we spend more time airborn than anything else in this game...i think for a good 30 minutes after "calling it a night" last night we were trying to see what we could jump and what not...i tried to pull off the snake river canyon stule jump and well the results were the same as Evel's lol.

I plan on powersliding all night long tonight well until i'm distracted by that darn E-Rep medic trying to save his boys...

Lol, went something like this:

Grit: Alright man, calling it a night.
Me: Ok cool, I'm gonna try this jump I found.
Grit: Wait, stay there, I'm heading over!

Then we jumped stuff for about a half hour lol!



Tonight we will have to put in some good powersliding time to get that out of the way.
