A. Didn't watch all or any of the review

Watched some but was way to annoying couldnt handle wathcing the whole thing. His audio equipment is abysmal. Watched a couple min then skipped past most.

2. In fact he states multitude of times he couldn't even really play the game until 4-6 days later when trion had to personally send someone out to his house with the game on a USB drive (Trion offered with no prompting from him). He said that despite his frustration with the patcher he would give the game a fair chance, the beginning part about the patcher was to set up context for how badly something's went. *side note he received special treatment from trion without request, but still gave the a 5-6/10, yea that seems like a sell-out to me*

You cant blame Trion for his issue, plenty of people didnt have any issues with the patcher, i know several who were able to patch without any issues and play the game on day 1. More than likely his pc or network is crap which wouldnt supprise me.

3. He said there are no multiple builds for your Ego perks or powers, literally no mention of weapons or gear was mentioned in that segment, honestly listen, he doesn't even talk about the ability to make different builds for weapons, gear or shields. He was talking about inability to switch between whole sets of ego grids. As in on the fly changing between Overcharge and Cloak, sorry but currently you have respec and unlock a completely different branch of perks.

Now i know he didnt put much effort into the game, because most people knew before it came out that you would be able to unlock every ego perk in the grid and switch between them. Hell i have stealth and overcharge unlocked and use them in different loadouts.

Maybe if the guy wasnt such a ****** and had better audio equipment the whole review would have been bearable to watch.

Seeing as you are quoting ME, don't lump everyone else in with that. You also took what I said out of context about the reviews. Please notice I said GAME SITES. I don't know how you figure Youtube and one person on there is a game site.... but sure, go ahead and roll with that.

You keep grouping everyone else in when you problem is obviously with me. If you'd like, you can hash that out in private messages then. Other wise, please feel free to continue ranting and looking like a fool.

Why wouldn't i? you think you are the only one here throwing 'critics didn't get paid enough' line every time Defiance get average scores? who is the fool? the one who refuses to accept any negative reviews and start throwing accusations at critics for taking bribes or those like me who understand that game has its flaws?

I am pretty sure i am not the one looking like a fool here.

maybe if his whole schtick wasn't built around screaming really loud for 6 minutes while game footage plays in the background.......

not to say he isn't right or wrong about Defiance. doesn't matter either way to me.

I just find it surprising that so many people take his reviews seriously.

It's easy to take them seriously if he brings up good points.
So far I've seen him review three games I've played and he's had the same issues with them as me.
Now you can think whatever you want about his reviewing style but don't let you unconditional love for defiance blind you to how spot on he is.

Well, I disagree with some parts of this review; most of his points are pretty correct. The combat is very fun, but the side missions can get boring at times doing the same thing over and over again. His reviews though are generally pretty accurate, you just have to ignore some of it as well since voice acting seems to be a pet peeve of his from all the reviews I have seen of him.

he is an entertainer not a game reviewer, if you legitimately used his review alone to determine what games you purchase then you really need to examine your criteria for what constitutes a good game.

I agree with most of the points made by Joe. However i don't agree the with score given.

Joe gave ACM 4/10, and completely trashed the game. Then he says about equal amount of bad's and good's about Defiance and gives it only 1 point more, 5/10.

I would give Defiance ~7/10, or rather, i wouldn't give it any score at the moment, i would wait and see what the huge patch changes and then do my review/score.

Incorrect, actually. He was way off the mark. I really have to laugh when some people thin that when they have an issue with a game it is immediately the maker of the game's fault. Not that you live in texas and likely have ****ty internet or that you just have no idea what you are doing.

If I were to make a review to counter all of Angry Joe's points, it would be this simple.

"So I bought the game and downloaded it in 45 minutes and started playing, didn't have any issues"
