angry joe and other youtuber vlogger celeb reviewers don't so much make actual reviews as they pander to an audience so that the audience will link their videos in threads like these, then people will be like OMG I CNA"T BELIEVE I AGREE WITH ANGRY JOE! then link the video to their friends.

it's all about exploiting popular opinion reddit style for video views for partner revenue. that's their business model.

well aside from teh taking money from game companies to show their games then flipping between trashing the game and praising them to pretend like they've got an ounce of integrity while bashing mainstream gaming media for promoting game company contests or having dorritos next to them or w/e.

seems your taking things a bit too seriously.....I made him a few bucks....good, im not bitter about someone making a buck because I watched a video that they spent time making, its just a review that should be taking with a pinch of salt

hate too say it im addicted to game but his points are right... if trion doesnt get its act together then idk what will happen to this game...they have our money now lets see how "customer oriented" they are.. i really hope they make this game amazing with all the new updates

Partually correct. But the game itself was released way to early as well. Joe has a lot of good points
and even tho i like the game and has never had problems downloading anything, i totally agree to most
of that he said. The game is like a bad port from console to PC.

Bad UI that doesn't even show temporary buffs from Passives. Basically no grapgical settings for
us PC-users with highend machines, ABSOLUTELY ZERO ingame community.
And after completing the full storyline, it feels like there's nothing more to do.

I've finished the game, and no i didn't rush it. So now what... do those dungeons that never rewards
anything. Or do Arkfalls that buggs out and gives me ZERO contribution even tho i did most of it myself.

A lot of people are saying "if you play the game for items, just quit". Then WHY would you play an mmo
if not for the loot and character developement?. Just login, run around and kill Arkfalls until you puke?.

Same **** Different Day... literally. And then they give us factions, which takes FOREVER to get up
to high enough points for a good weapon, a weapon which after a while is OUTLEVELED and stops
your progression !?.... doesn't make sence.

No no.. i completely agree with Joe on all points. The only thing that is good in this game, is the combat
system and vehicle mechanics... everything else is just a repetetive grindfest for ... a non-reward-system.

I really hope Defiance makes it tho. Trion works hard with patches, updates and has done a good
job stabilizing the server since release. But with the current lack of "carrot", i find it hard to see a success.

This guy is a moron.

Now that we got that out there, his review was pretty flawed. Take for example, the idea that "after 5 or 6 episodic missions, you will no absolutely nothing about the main characters"... were you even f*&^%ing paying attention? You learn a lot about them- for example, how about the fact that they value their survival over ANYTHING else? This is clear in their dialogue with your character. Remeber when Nolan is trying to get you out of the tunnel, and Irisa shouts, "we've got our own problems here!"... This is a theme played over and over in the missions. And the list could go on; I simply cite this one example.

He spends most of the review bashing the main storyline elements, all while claiming there is essentially no storyline. I'm wondering if he even played the same game we are currently playing.

I love how the review opens with a problem that many players experienced- but then didn't bother to go on saying how diligently Trion worked to resolve those issues. You think anyone at their office got much sleep the first week the game came out??

Overall, I think this guy pretty much rants to rant. Maybe that's his thing, I don't know. Overall, I think this is probably the second-worst review I've seen done of Defiance, only behind IGN's.

So you agree that all positive reviews are the only un biased ones? and all negative reviews are just angry critics who didn't get paid by Trion?

If you think i being of an opinion that game is 5/10 makes me someone who 'hates' the game than that is your problem not mine. And no i am not a fan but i do prefer his reviews over sites like IGN.
